This symposium aims to strengthen and to enhance biorisk management within the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA). It offers a unique opportunity for biosafety and biosecurity professionals to discuss issues in the field of biorisk management, the latest developments in biological threats and other laboratory biosafety and biosecurity issues in light of emerging and re-emerging diseases in the World. It is organized as two days interactive workshops providing practical solutions in the field of biosafety and biosecurity and two days conferences.
The Conference will host up to 300 participants including: relevant international and national organizations, leading scientific experts and students from public health, animal and agriculture sectors

Biorim 2019 training workshops
On 2nd and 3rd of April 2019, five pre-symposium courses will be organized for BIORIM participants.
In case you decided to take one of our courses,be sure to choose an only one workshop as the courses are going to take place simultaneousely.
Please note that for workshop 1 and 2, participants who wishe to get the certification:
- CAN choose the language (English, Arabic, or French) for the Biorisk Management exam and the Biosecurity exam .
- MUST create their account and register for the exam session in the online IFBA Certifior system
